Sharon McCart is a United Methodist deaconess, consecrated to a lifetime of love, justice, and service and appointed to work in Disability Ministries and to a project that is building relationships between deaconesses/home missioners in the United States and the Philippines. She is currently working toward a Doctor of Ministry degree in Creative Writing and Public Theology at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. She has previously published articles in Response Magazine, United Methodist Insight, and United Methodist News Service as well as the blog of the Disability Ministries Committee of The United Methodist Church.
